Good design is good design, whatever the media.
Graphic design has developed so much over the decades – from basic business cards, letter heads and printed publicity materials it has grown into a multi disciplinary and essential part of any business’s tool kit, providing a huge number of ways of communicating a brand’s ethos to its customers.
Whatever your requirements, from a new business card right through to a fully bespoke website I can help. I bring a very cohesive approach to harmonising all visual branding across a company’s printed materials and online presence but equally am perfectly happy to work on one-off design commissions.
Printed media is still as important as it has ever been and I can work on anything from leaflets and brochures to large projects such as advertising banners and trade stand displays or packaging and point of sale.
Digital design is a huge category and covers anything from a simple email signature or a customised image for social media, to large advertising campaigns and, of course, websites.
Website design is a minefield these days with all sorts of “easy” packages which seldom are; they can lead to cookie-cutter results that seldom work well with a company’s existing branding. Websites are just another form of visual design so they have to look good. Equally the structure must work intuitively, with a clear menu system that can be easily accessed by your customers. Many of our websites are developed to allow the customer to update much of their own content, via a full “content management system”.
Applying good design principles is just as relevant whether you need a small simple website, or a fully bespoke e-commerce site and I work on projects of all sizes and budgets.
